Projections, meanwhile are not; some are predicting a take near $50 million, but I’m not drinking that Kool-Aid. At least not with Captain America holding its own and a possible sleeper-in-the-making like Crazy, Stupid, Love pulling adults away. FORECAST: $33.7 million · The Smurfs: No one necessarily asked for this movie before it was announced, but a surprising amount of people with young kids and/or a robust sense of nostalgia are expected to ask for it this weekend. The 3-D bump will treat this one right — still probably not enough to score second place over Captain America, but closer than probably even its own gang at Sony expects. Sequel! FORECAST: $25.9 million · Crazy, Stupid, Love.: Steve Carell. Julianne Moore. Ryan Gosling. Kevin Bacon. Marisa Tomei. Emma Stone. Josh Groban. Allll with their own constituencies, and allll under the same PG-13 romcom umbrella. This movie would have killed in August. I guess technically it still can (and will), but for now, it’ll have to settle for a strong fourth place. FORECAST: $19.2 million REGIONAL OUTLOOK Things get really bottlenecked at the art house, meanwhile, where the early Oscar-season adopters The Devil’s Double (featuring Dominic Cooper in a staggering dual performance as sadistic Iraqi scion Uday Hussein and his lookalike decoy) and The Interrupters (Steve James’s acclaimed documentary about gang-violence “interrupters” in Chicago) make their debuts. it’s every bit as classy, atmospheric and eye-catching as
you’d expect.*

Playing on the bat image in a way that recalls _Dark Knight’_s
burning building posters, this first one sheet for _Rises_ has the
iconic Batman symbol crafted out of crumbling skyscrapers.

It’s as thematically fitting as that title (if _Rises_ is a
direct sequel to _Knight_, so is its poster a direct play on that
film's poster), and a dramatic thing of restrained beauty.

Alright, yes, it’s just a poster, but calling this "just a
poster" is like calling Big Ben "just a bell".

The _Rises_ one sheet is massively significant as the first bit of
official propaganda (after that Bane image) released for Chris Nolan's
threequel.

Excuse us for hyperbole, but it’s an absolute blinder.

I remembre as a Kid watching a movie very similar in its plot to the
dirty dozen, but I can't remember its name. also 12 convicted soldiers
were chosen to assassinate a prominent german officer, and when the
sniper in the group (a black actor) aims for the German officer, the
officer is standing next to Hitler himself. he hesitates whether to
kill the officer or Hitler, but in the end he follows commands and
kills the officer, afterwards, the group attack the german camp, and
most of them die. except 3 and the major John. the black sniper dies
from internal bleeding in the fleeing stolen german helicopter.

if anybody knows this movie, I would be very very grateful if you
could reply with its name, i've been looking for it for ages.... with
no avail.

I know he's good but too many people call him a genius or act like he
was the best musician ever. I mean if he's a genius then what does
that make bands like the Pixies who were better and more influential?
I mean really, if you look at a lot of the music Kurt's influenced,
it's post-grunge trash that sounds like watered-down Nirvana, not the
greatest legacy. Do you think people would be calling him a genius if
he was still alive? Sometimes I hate being a fan of Nirvana's music
because of the ridiculous reverence people hold towards Cobain.

Ok so i usually go looking on netflix and i find this really scary
movie. I start watching these movies and i get hooked in and watch
them to the end, when im done i become paranoid as crap and every
single noise scares me, for example, i watched The Haunting in
Connecticut today and its now 3:00 AM and I CANNOT SLEEP! I feel like
someone is lurking around the corner right now and i cant stand it.
